Known as “The Mushroom Lady,” Shiitake Mama wears many hats: writer, speaker, and mushroom farmer. Her journey is deeply inspiring, as she transitioned from being a technical writer and a speech and theatre professor to becoming Oklahoma Arts Council’s Theatre Artist in Residence, before finding her calling in sustainable agriculture and community connection.
