Hello, wonderful community!

I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts from my heart about our coworking center’s journey. As many of you know, there was a point when we had our hopes set on relocating to the old Stillwater library building. To be completely honest, when we recently got the news that someone else did finally purchase that building, there was a definite moment of disappointment. We had envisioned so much for that space, and it felt like a bit of a setback.

But life, and certainly economic development, is full of twists and turns, isn't it? What I've come to realize is that every closed door often leads to an even better path.

Our current location has truly revealed itself to be a blessing in disguise. One of the biggest silver linings, in my eyes, is our incredible proximity to the new Block 34 amphitheater, Stillwater’s new “community living room”. Can you imagine the possibilities? We're right in the heart of burgeoning activity, poised to be a vibrant hub for culture, learning, and community engagement. This strategic placement opens up so many exciting avenues for partnerships and programs that we simply wouldn't have had elsewhere.

And when it comes to staying put, I'm thrilled to share that we have new renovation plans for our current space! We've begun a fantastic partnership with Dooley Designs by Kim, and they are bringing such innovative and thoughtful ideas to the table. Our vision is to transform our current building (starting with the downstairs meeting room) into a modern, welcoming, and highly functional space that truly serves your needs. Think bright, open spaces, flexible community areas, and updated resources – all designed with you in mind.

As we navigate these exciting changes, my heart is truly full of gratitude for the space we currently occupy and for all of you who make it so special. Every day, I see the joy and connection happening within these walls, and it reminds me that WorkIT is so much more than just a building; it's a living, breathing part of our community. And to top it all off, being an integral part of the downtown development that's currently underway fills me with immense optimism. The energy and growth happening around us are infectious, and I believe our center is perfectly positioned to grow right alongside it.

This is a journey of growth, adaptation, and endless possibilities, and I'm so glad to be on it with all of you. Your support, enthusiasm, and ideas are what truly make our coworking center special!
