Chris launched The Stillwegian after recognizing a growing need in Stillwater for independent, community-focused journalism that fits the way people consume news today. His mission is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: give residents the information they need to better understand, navigate, and take pride in the place they call home. With sharp reporting and high-quality photography, he keeps the community connected through engaging newsletters and digital coverage.
While The Stillwegian is free to read, its continued success is fueled by paid subscriptions and local advertisers. Their support ensures that Stillwater receives consistent, independent reporting without strict paywalls or outside influence.
